About

Hawaii, the Marine Corps Reserve, twenty years of running teams in Las Vegas, and three companies of my own.

I grew up in Hawaii. My dad bought me Star Wars #1 at a swap meet, and that started a collection that now fills more than fifty long boxes. Responsibility came early. At seven I was looking after my three younger siblings while my father was deployed.

I served six years in a Marine Corps Reserve reconnaissance unit out of Kaneohe Bay. During those same years I worked my way up at a Maui dive company, from the sales floor to running its eleven retail stores and both of its beach training operations, and I earned a business degree along the way.

I moved to Las Vegas in 2003 and spent the next twenty years building and running teams. As a director of sales I took a floor from a few thousand dollars a week to eighty-six thousand. I owned an internet marketing agency that did two million dollars in its first calendar year with a staff of twenty. I was an operations manager at a national auto-parts retailer, where I moved a sales and support operation across the country and left it documented for the people who took it over. I built an outbound contact center that made six times the calls without adding staff. I ran recruiting for a licensed field force that grew past five hundred agents. Twice I was a chief executive, and both times I ran the whole back office myself.

Multiverse of Heroes started in 2017 as an online collectibles store built on my own collection. I trademarked the name and rebranded in 2022. I buy my own comics by Final Order Cutoff, and there was no real source for that when I started, so I built the list myself. It is now FOC Intelligence, which sells subscriptions and preorder comics.

In December 2025 I started building RingMentor, a real-time AI coaching app for sales calls, and I shipped it in 2026: a signed desktop app, a manager portal, and the backend behind them. I built it alone and it is past its twenty-fifth release.

I'm not a developer. Both products exist because I run AI the way I ran teams: I give clear instructions, I check the work against real data, and I write down what went wrong so it doesn't happen again.

I train five days a week at 4:30 in the morning, I post a quote a day, and I'm building businesses my children can run.

How I work

Four habits I hold myself to, whether I'm running a call center or building software.

Check the result, not the effort

A report isn't right because someone worked hard on it. I pull the number from the source and compare. Nothing is done until that check passes.

Look before building

Before I add anything new, I look at what the data I already have can tell me. Half the time the answer is already there.

Every mistake becomes a rule

When something breaks, the fix includes a written rule so it can't break the same way twice. The rules get read at the start of every work day.

Say it, even when it costs me

If the numbers say my idea is wrong, I say so and change course. I'd rather lose the argument than ship the mistake.
